He later, in another camp, helped coordinate the Resistance. After the war he was much rewarded for his contribution. In 2004 he was named 'The Greatest Person from Leiden University' by the university magazine. In 2015 his speech was declared the greatest in Dutch history. The book is sound, confident. Half leather. Marbled boards. The leathered corners and spine have wear, scuffing, rubbed from handling and shelving. The boards are scuffed, worn about the edges. Matching marbled end papers.
