Original Cloth. Condición: Good. Second Edition. The book is given as having been printed in 1945 which would make it the second edition - first published by OUP in 1943. One curious detail is that the front pastedown has 'Xmas 1943' written on it however. The boards have some bumping to the corners and a little surface discolouration with one tiny dark spot to the spine. Page edges browned with light spotting in places. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown - this was David Emerson, a former GP from Cambridge. Faint Heffer & Sons stamp to the bottom of the front pastedown and there is some browning and spotting to the endpapers.
