Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Good. First Edition. Glossy pictorial wraps. 520pp. The author has has written entries on approx. 109 "pioneer men of Arizona." The print is small, so the information while only 2-5 pages in most cases, is not too brief. Years ago I purchased three copies of this scarce book, & each of the three, including this one, had foxing on much of the front cover. It's not pretty, but it's a tough book to find. There are a few speckles on the fore edge, & an ink mark on the back cover. As they say in the trade, "else fine." Very scarce.

A fine, tight, unmarked typescript copy with taped reinforced spine as photographed. Self-published, privately printed in Mesa, Arizona in 1969, this is a monumental thirty-three year research effort, by the compiler/editor Roberta Flake Clayton (1877-1981). Comprised of compelling, and historical biographies of Mormon women pioneers in the Arizona territory. These are the life stories of Mormon girls, young women, mothers, and grandmothers who traveled to Arizona by covered wagon and by train. Fascinating reading, rarely offered.
