Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book is a farcical one-act comedy that depicts the hilarious consequences of a lobster dinner. When Albert Langton, a respectable husband, indulges in a hearty meal of lobster, he finds himself suffering from a severe headache. His wife, Grace, attempts to remedy the situation by planning a dinner party featuring lobster cutlets and salad, but her efforts only worsen her husband's condition. As the evening progresses, a series of mishaps occur, including the unexpected delivery of six hat boxes and six new chairs, each of which add to the chaos and confusion. The play culminates in a hilarious confrontation between Langton and the hat deliveryman, Mr. Fiddler, who also happens to be in love with Langton's maid, Serina. In a fit of rage, Langton attacks Fiddler, prompting Serina to intervene and reveal her engagement to the deliveryman. The revelation stuns Langton, who slowly begins to recover from his headache. The play ends with Langton acknowledging the absurdity of his behavior and embracing the joy and laughter that comes from embracing the unexpected.
