George Ellis managed the Bell Ranch for almost a quarter century and was one of but six men who served as general manager in its 150-year history. Donald Ornduff, well known cattle editor, writer and researcher sets the historical stage for the story, and Robert Lougheed provides the illustrations. VG/G+.
