Revised Shooting Final script for the 1956 film. Dramatic depiction of tests actually conducted on ejection seats of Stratojet bombers in Florida in the early 1950s. These tests were conducted by the US Air Forces as preparation for space travel. Shot on location at the Air Proving Grounds Command in Florida, and in New Mexico. Director Webb also directed "Love Me Tender" the same year, featuring Elvis Presley's acting debut.
