Rubbed at extremities with superficial scuffing around all edges, spine a little darkened. Leather is clean and remains supple. One small stain at fore…edge of first two pages, otherwise clean throughout, all 61 engravings have tissue guards, binding and hinges are sound. Please note that the frontispiece has, in addition to the small fore-edge stain, a small splash of red ink that intrudes a tiny bit on the left side of the engraving (see the last picture, above). This is a very nice copy and the engravings are beautiful.
