Importante memorial que Carlos I, rey de Inglaterra dirige al rey de España, Felipe IV, sobre la resolución que ha tomado sobre los asuntos del Palatinado y la Paz de Alemania. Sir Walter Aston (1584-1639), 1st bt. and 1st Baron Aston of Forfar, fue embajador inglés en España entre 1620 y 1625 y de nuevo entre 1636-1638 cuando fue enviado ante la corte de Madrid para acometer el problema en el Palatinado al que se refiere este documento.
