Fifteenth Edition, Revised, with Large Additions by Simon Greenleaf Croswell. First published 1842 by the Harvard law professor; subsequent copyright renewals 1858 through 1883. Introductory pages in Volume 1 include original dedication to Joseph Story (1842), " Advertisement to the First Edition" (1842), and Prefaces to both the fourteenth (1883) and present edition. Volume 2 carries the "Advertisement to the Second Edition" (1853). All three volumes are solid, with intact bindings and hinges. All extremities rubbed, with varying amounts of wear.
