A complete civil and ecclesiastical history of Br…istol, with details from its founding by King Brennus, through the Siege of Bristol in 1645 and the origin of manufacturing, to the development of schools and philosophical societies. With biographical sketches of prominent inhabitants. Volume I is the work of John Corry, an Irish topographer and historian writer, while Volume II the work of Reverend John Evans, a writer and historian. Re-backed with half crushed morocco and brown boards. Externally, tired with bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to the board. Significant loss to the spine of volume two. Hinges tender but generally firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot. Fair. None (ilustrador). book.
