Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Very Good. 1st Edition. Original 1872 copy of "Father Taylor, the Sailor Preacher: Incidents and Anecdotes of The Reverend Edward T. Taylor, for over Forty Years Pastor of the Seaman's Bethel, Boston." The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. The covers have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. There is a period name inscription to the backside of the frontispiece portrait. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly nice and clean with just the occasional light bit of foxing or minor grubby mark. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a minor interior crack, creased page corner, minor stain or marking, tiny chip or tear, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 7 1/2 inches by 5 1/8 inches and is 445 pages long with a few black and white plates. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.…

Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Very Good. 1st Edition. First British Edition, 1872. G.Campbell Morgan Provenance / Association Copy. Hardcover bound in dark plum cloth with an ornate, bright gilt title stamping on the front board. Condition: Very Good. The binding remains structurally sound and tight. Light rubbing to the extremities, corner tips, and spine ends commensurate with age. The interior text block is complete with clean, unmarked leaves showing light, uniform age-toning. No severe foxing or moisture damage. This copy features a highly notable vintage ink signature on the front flyleaf: "G Campbell Morgan / Dec 4 '89". George Campbell Morgan (1863-1945) was a legendary British evangelist, prolific author, and leading Bible scholar who famously served as the pastor of Westminster Chapel in London and collaborated closely with D.L. Moody. The 1889 date directly aligns with the early years of his ministerial career in the English Midlands. A wonderful association copy bridging two historic generations of renowned Transatlantic preachers.…
