Paperback oblong quarto, very good condition, black & white text-photos & etching, colour plates, corner tips front cover scuffed, minor edgewear. 128 pp. This wonderful book by Judy Washington originated from a photographic exhibition in October 1987 by the Local Studies Collection of Lane Cove Public Library. The subject was inspired by the abundance of artistic talent that has existed in Lane Cove in the 20th century. The order of artists relates to the date which they arrived in Lane Cove (a northern Sydney suburb). The author states that it is a historical record of the artists' lives and what they have contributed, and their relationship with Lane Cove.
