Includes a number of illustrated adverts, a mixture of recipes, as stated in preface include Plain recipes and economical high-class ones. Rare to find this edition with the arts & crafts binding, with binding in such good condition. Size: 12.5 x 19cm Approx.

Only very light wear to cloth. Very good. Daughter of a London stockbroker, Essie Roberta Rees would only have been in her early 20's when this book was first published, and yet is described as the Principal of the Westbourne Grove Cookery School, where she is still listed as teaching in the 1911 census.
