Chase was at this time the Republican State Auditor and Land Commissioner.

The Minnesota Historical Society's Pat Coleman has designated this rare book to be one of Minnesota's 150 most important books. Chase was an Anoka Republican who served one term in the Minnesota Legislature, as State Auditor and was a candidate for Governor in 1930. Coleman points out that Chase was not just rabidly anti-communist (and socialist), but also introduced anti-Semitism into Minnesota State politics, probably for the first time. Exceedingly rare in any condition. Included with this book is a copy of the original mailing envelope to a resident of Anoka and with Chase's Anoka return address.
