The Folio Society began as a membership-based book club but then expanded its range to publish multiple titles in fiction and non-fiction; science fiction and fantasy; biography and autobiography (from the publisher's web-site). Previous owner's ink-stamped name inside front and rear flaps, that of H. Baldwin-Price. 15 illustrations including at frontis and throughout. Map endpapers front and rear.
