Charmingly illustrated boards in excellent clean condition with spotting to the page edges.The text block itself is free of foxing / discolouration. Normal 8vo novel…size. Attractive Wesleyan Methodist presentation label to Philis Boyd. Four-colour illustrations. Clean throughout on soft white paper with no signs of use apart from slight movement to title-page inner edge; firm, square, tight binding. Scarce dust-jacket with what looks like an attempt at 3D printing on the front cover but may be just faulty register of blue/green. Clean and unclipped (2/6) the scarce wrapper is a little ragged with small tears to spine area top and tail. Hull bookseller label. "The spiritual life may and should go on steadily broadening and deepening like a river on its way from mountains to the sea. 30% price reduction applied.
