A deluxe photo book to accompany the Japanese release of the classic film Wild Style, with early hip-hop soundtrack feat…uring first generation American hip-hop artists like Cold Crush Brothers, Grandmaster Caz, and Rammellzee; on a dubbed generic cassette-- fairly uncommon and expensive technology at the time. The film introduced people around the world to a new style of music, which was often dismissed as a mere fad throughout the 1980s. This film's impact on Japanese youth culture in the 1980s was significant; it would spawn the robust Japanese hip-hop scene that continues to this day.
