Añadir al carritoQuarto (24 X 18.5 cm.) Printed on glossy paper. Original staples. Couple of small edge tears. 5 full page illustrations. Front wrapper with a small edge chip on the top corner. A much cleaner copy than normal. a great copy. Herbert Ponting was the "Camera Artist" on Scott's Last expedition and captured some of the most amazing images on film and through cinematography. Once the news of the disaster made it to the world there seemed to have been a frenzy for information from the public and Ponting's lectures and showings were tremendously in demand. It would appear from the film's synopsis that the presentation was in two parts and the theatre must have been a showplace for his amazing images. Enlargements were advertised in the brochure and that the Fine Art Society were selling them. Ponting had a manager, Ben Natan, and a press representative, Mr. Herbert Grover. The dramatic music was played on a grand piano. It must have been something to experience the films as they traveled around the country. As with all polar ephemera like this, very scarce and an excellent example of this fragile publication.
