Light rubbing to boards, moderate rubbing to extremities, later armorial bookplate (Gloucester) to front pastedown. Light toning to interior, a few minor tears to tables, light soiling to half title. This review of the game laws in dialogue form was reprinted in 1775 and incorporated into a later work by John Purlevent, Two Law Tracts (1786).
