Hardcover, no jacket, illustrated Victorian style binding, color frontis plate and three additional black & white illustrations, 339 pages + 2 pages of ads and a brief 1-page biography of the author, the front and rear hinges are cracked but the binding is holding, a gift inscription dated "Christmas…, 1908" is present on the first blank end-paper, moderate signs of use to the cover, it does remain presentable.
