Hardcover. Condición: Fine condition. Near Fine dust jacket. First Edition. Santa Barbara, California: Capra Press, 1986. SIGNED in full by the AUTHOR directly on the title page (his signature only; NOT personalized to anyone). Fine condition in a Near Fine dust jacket. The jacket would also be FINE but for a little sun fade to…its spine (as usual with this book's jacket). Protected by a removable mylar clear-plastic sleeve. NOT price clipped ($15.00). NO chips. NO tears. NO creases. Sharp corners. NO owner's name or bookplate. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked - probably never read. NO highlighting. NO underlining. NO margin notes. The jacket describes this work as a "novelization" based in part on letters and other documents concerning his father that Powell found during a trip to Paris, where his dad had also spent time. Bound in the original pale yellow boards, with a black cloth spine stamped in bright silver. Complete with dust jacket. Laid in is a copy of a fascinating article about Powell's life and career written by printer/publisher Ward Ritchie for the Antiquarian Bookman's Weekly (January 22, 1990). Powell and Ritchie were close friends from early childhood and this article details some of the adventures, literary and otherwise, they shared over the years. Signed by the Author (signature only). First Edition. Hardcover. Fine condition/Near Fine dust jacket. 8vo. 111pp. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.

Hardcover. Condición: Fine. First Edition. 142 pp, with color frontispiece and b/w plates. Signed by Lawrence Clark Powell on the limitation page. One of 600 copies issued, of which 100 were signed and bound in Brown cloth. This appears to be one of the 250 "regular copies," as it is bound in orange cloth (unless this is someone…'s strange idea of brown), but it is signed nonetheless. Fine copy. Includes a section on "the 'Powell Era' in the California Citrus Industry," followed by "Harold Powell's letters from Southern California" and "Harold Powell's letters from California and the West in 1909.".
