Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Fine. First Edition. Small octavo, 235pp. A crisp, clean, well-preserved copy, about fine, in the publisher's reddish-brown cloth, stamped in black with gilt spine title. Hint of rubbing to extremities, but a lovely copy. Rare and highly detailed account of this Indian Agent's activities in the highly contested Dakota Territory in the 1870s. The few copies we've traced in recent commerce have generally been rebound, and have nonetheless outperformed their auction estimates. Unrestored examples in superior condition are highly desirable and exceedingly scarce. Howes P467; Graff 3315.
