In den einzelnen Geheimnissen findet jeder für sich passende Unterweisungen im Hinblick auf seine persönliche Heiligung und seine Lebensverhältnisse. Auf diese Weise wird der Rosenkranz zum universalen Gebet des einzelnen Gläubigen und der großen Gemeinschaft der Erlösten, die aus allen Teilen der Erde sich in einem einzigen Gebet begegnen: ob im privaten Gebet, um Gnaden für die persönlichen Anliegen jedes Einzelnen zu erbitten, oder in der Teilnahme am unermesslichen und einstimmigen Chor der ganzen Kirche für die großen Interessen der gesamten Menschheit. Ergreifend schön sind auch die Farbbilder zu den einzelnen Geheimnissen. Sie stammen alle vom selben italienischen Maler, Pietro Favaro, einem begnadeten Künstler. Einzig die Bilder zum lichtreichen Rosenkranz stammen vom italienischen Maler Guerrino Pera, weil Favaro vorher starb.
