Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book is a fascinating and entertaining play about a young lawyer's first case and the challenges he faces as he navigates the complexities of the legal system and human nature. Set in the early 1900s, the story follows Me Laurence Mouillette, a fresh law graduate eager to prove himself. His first client is Chambrouille, a cunning and experienced criminal accused of theft. As Mouillette delves into the case, he uncovers a tangled web of lies and deceit, forcing him to question his own beliefs and the boundaries of justice. The play explores themes of innocence, guilt, and the fine line between right and wrong. Through the author's skillful writing, the characters come to life, each with their own motivations and flaws, adding depth and nuance to the story. This book offers a compelling examination of the human condition and the complexities of the legal system, making it a thought-provoking and enjoyable read for anyone interested in law, crime, or human drama. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
