Hardcover. Condición: Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fine. 1st Edition. PRICE REDUCED! In his followup to the 2001 debut"Ice Harvest", Phillips expands his range while still focusing on Wichita, Kansas. In this character-rich novel that both precedes and follows the debut book, Phillips introduces Gunther Fahnsteil, a retired Wichita cop who initially discovers wealth beyond counting, hides it away, and forgets where he hid it. Ten years later Fahnsteil walks away from his "locked" memory-loss nursing center bent on remembering where the money is hidden and on solving some police business from 40 years earlier. A cast of characters is in search of him for many reasons- most not good.
