No date or publisher but believe it is probably the first edition published about 1945. No wear to binding. Toned pages more pronounced at edges. Paper is still strong. Clean. Tight. Very good condition.

Includes maps, other black and white illustrations from photographs, list those killed or missing in action, battle statistics, etc. Light blue cloth printed in black, Route of Advance map on endpapers, book about 7.5 inches tall, 153 pages, no dustjacket, likely issued without. Some soil to covers, good hinges, sound text block, age-browning to the war-era paper used for the pages, no other names or markings. Signed by the Commanding Officer. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Very Good/No jacket, as issued. Overall page toning to war paper used. Based on material gathered by Pfc Phillip Dodge under the supervision of Capt. Alfred Stapleton. Scarce theater produced history created during 1945 occupation duty where copies were intended for regiment members. Ralph Palladino later re-edited "the theater produced pamphlet" with additional photographs in 1960. Deactivated in 2005, the 104th Infantry Regiment soldiers and lineage (beginning 14 November 1639 in Springfield, MA) were transferred to the 1st Battalion, 181st Infantry Regiment. Title page has Army National Guard motto Fortitude and Courage.
