Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. Fifty years after the Great World War of 1914-1918, the world has undergone a dramatic transformation. Socialistic revolutions have swept across capitalistic countries, leading to the establishment of the Universal International Socialistic Democracy. While many celebrate this new era of equality and justice, a disgruntled minority of aristocrats and capitalists find themselves struggling to adapt. This book takes us on a journey to Aristokia, a unique city-state created as a haven for these displaced elites. Within its borders, they cling to the remnants of their former lives, recreating a world of emperors, princesses, and extravagant displays of wealth. Our protagonist, John Smith, an American inventor renowned for his contribution to solving world hunger, finds himself drawn into this extraordinary society. As Smith navigates the complexities of Aristokia, he encounters Gwendolyn, a captivating young woman whose spirit and beauty challenge his preconceived notions about the aristocracy. Their interactions expose the contradictions and challenges of both the old and new world orders. Through their story, the author explores themes of societal change, personal freedom, and the enduring allure of the past. Ultimately, this book offers a thought-provoking reflection on human nature and the complexities of navigating a world in flux. It reminds us that even in times of great upheaval, the yearning for love, connection, and a sense of belonging remains a powerful force. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. …
