A rare offering from Rylee publishers, who started life in the inter-war period as commercial photographers before moving into printing and publishing post war, mainly reprints of children's classics, and books on trains. This somewhat adult offering was out of character, and the sequel promised in the blurb does not appear to have materialised. Freeman / Gristead (1903 - 1972) also wrote for The Eagle.
