Google copied the book from a copy in the New York Public Library for the digital reader. Black plate with gilt lettering on the spine. This copy has broken hinges to the front and back covers, they are almost detached--just hanging on. Suitable for rebinding. General wear and moderate soiling to the leather covers--spine leather is worn, corners bumped and frayed. Moderate age tonning and some stains to pages inside, paper is fragile on first few pages and last few pages, a few pages have pressed leaves inside (antiques in there in right) and on a few of these pages there are stains from the leaves. Book is tight inside, however the back lower corner of the papers are bent lightly. Email us for some photos or with your questions.
