In this 10-1/2-inch square jacketed hardcover quarto, fashion photographer Irving Penn uses some creative chiarascuro lighting to photograph in black-and white the Paris fashions selected by Paris-born Diana Vreeland for the Metropolitan Museum's 1970s historical fashion show "The 10s, 20s, 30s" (though unfortunately all clothing is displayed on mannequins -- no live models.) Book and jacket are "good" -- complete and intact, though considerably loosened from use, jacket frayed to head & heel of spine.
