With manuscript ink annotations on the verso noting the location and year, as well as the presence of artist Guy Peelaert, who appears in a single image with Martin and an unidentified dancer. Peelaert is most famous for his controversial (and ultimately censored) cover image for David Bowie's "Diamond Dogs," as well as the album cover for The Rolling Stones' "It's Only Rock 'n; Roll," and the posters for Martin Scorsese's "Taxi Driver" (1976), Robert Altman's "Short Cuts" (1993), and Wim Wenders' "Paris, Texas" (1984) and "Wings of Desire" (1987). The popular English singer and song writer David Bowie (David Robert Jones; 1947-2016) produced this album as a rock glam vision of a post-apocalyptic world following the retirement from his alter-ego Ziggy Stardust including 1984 and Rebel Rebel on the track list.
