Halftitle, CXVI (=116) pages, with woodblock-initial to fist chapter; 1 blank leaf. - Slightly gilt-decorated original full-leather binding of the period over 5 raised bands with gilt-titled spine-label and colourful marbled endpapers, all edges red; 4to.(ca. 24,5 x 19,5 cm). ~~~ FIRST AND PROBABLY ONLY EDITION OF THIS ANYNOMOUSLY PUBLISHED - AND BIBLIOPHILLY EDITED - TREATISE; LEATHERBOUND ORIGINAL, unfortunately lacking the titlepage: *) The half-title only states the maintitle without the subtitle as mentioned above referring to Julius Cesar's campaign in Gallia.
