This souvenir booklet from Buffalo Bill's farewell tour is filled with tributes to Buffalo Bill who is "about to resign the honors of leadership.to his young and capable associate in pioneer work, Maj. Gordon W. Lillie, 'Pawnee Bill'."; illustrated in black and white throughout; interesting period advertising throughout; a few pages with corner creases. The condition of the book is NEAR FINE. Only five copies located on OCLC/WorldCat. RARE.

Small paper remnants on the unprinted verso, likely removed from a scrapbook, else near fine. Pencil note on verso notes place and date: "Asbury Park, July '92." Pawnee Bill and his wife Mary started their show in 1888. It went through several permutations, some more successful than others, including a relatively brief partnership with Buffalo Bill Cody. A simple, if pleasing little broadside.

The image shows Lillie in full Western gear, and there are a couple minor chips to the emulsion on the left side. There is light waterstaining to the top portion of the inscription, but the signature is large and dark.
