Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book is a collection of observations and rulings that govern the obligations and privileges of peasants and landlords in the Kingdom of Hungary. It was issued after a period of intense labor reform to codify the rights and responsibilities of both parties, and provides a unique insight into the Hungarian serfdom system of the 18th century. The author delves into the details of peasant obligations, the size of land parcels peasants were entitled to, and the kinds of payments and services peasants were required to provide to their landlords. The author also discusses the legal basis for peasant-landlord obligations, as well as the procedures for resolving disputes between the two parties. This book provides valuable insights into the legal and economic dynamics of a key institution in 18th century Hungarian society.
