Loss to the spine covering and cracked to the paper on the joints. Darkened binding but a scarce imprint. Uncut edges. [The passenger was George Buchan of Kellow, Berwicks.] The first ediiton 1820 is more common than this 1826 issue and only two copies traced in Copac.

Empty table to last panel. Edges rubbed and a few closed tears at margins; fold to middle; previous owner tape repair to some edges and gutter; toned with mild soiling. Overall a Very Good example. Lists cabin passengers and officers aboard the "Hammonia" for the New York to Hamburg route leaving July 2nd, 1885. While we find no recognizable names, we enjoy Mr. Oscar Bischoff and his family Minnie, Olivie, Dora, and Nora (disappointingly none of cookie fame).
