Substantially revised by Lord Tweedsmuir this edition also contains a number of Thomas Bewick's engravings. 315pp Maroon cloth, gold lettering…. But for a hint of rubbing at the ends of the spine the book is virtually as new. The d/w has a few creases and a little wear at the foot of the spine. There is a small piece missing at the lower edge of the front panel.

Eric Parker (1870-1955) was Editor-in-Chief of The Field and a writer on sport, topography and natural history.
