Hardcover. A collection of 49 Chinese paper cuts depicting personalities from the Three Kingdoms era (220-280 AD). Each of the paper-cut sheets is loose and laid-in between the pages of the book. Each has Chinese text cut into the illustration, presumably identifying the figure. Aside from that and the cover, there is no text in the book, though the book appears to be from the 1960s or 70s. A very handsome production and a nice collection, possibly unique. Iridescent clothbound hardcover with cut cloth titling mounted to the front; unpaginated [ca. 100 pages]; 49 loose sheets cut into illustrations on a multitude of different colored papers; each approx. 5.25 x 7 inches.
