This is a French translation of Pankiewicz's book "Apteka w Getcie Krakowskim" originally written in Polish ("The Pharmacy in the Krakow ghetto" in English). Pankiewicz was the only non-Jewish pharmacist to stay in the Krakow Jewish ghetto after the German occupation and was instrumental in both providing medical aid and helping coordinate resistance activities.
