Os relatórios incluem quadros com o número de efectivos, listas nominais de oficiais, com notas sobre o respetivo comportamento e serviços prestados. Muitos documentos são da autoria dos oficiais portugueses tais como o Marquês de Alorna, Marquês de Loulé, Gomes Freire de Andrade, José Carcome Lobo, Barão de Pamplona, Conde de São Miguel, Conde de Albuquerque, Conde de Aguiar e Conde de Sabugal.
