Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fair. This book covers a wide range of American Furniture and some French furniture, which provided examples of pre-cursor designs related to American revival styles. There are roughly 40 pages of text and almost 500 hundred photos; unfortunately almost all in black and white except for three full pages in color. Most pieces shown are very upscale with pieces from various museums and finer, older "show" homes. For example, how many readers will know the meaning of terms such as bergere, bonheur-du-jour, cartonnier, cheval, chiffonier, encoignure, meridiennes, and others. (Some of these terms are not even defined in the Complete Dictionary of Furniture by Gloag.) Ex library book. …
