Sotto il medaglione il blasone dei Manin e la seguente iscrizione : "Ludovicus Maninus Divi Marci Procurator Anno MDCCLXIIII" e in piccolo sotto l'immagine a sinistra "Car. Orsolini del: et sculp." e a destra : "Alles. Longhi Pinxit". La incisione rappresenta infatti il futuro ultimo Doge di Venezia nell'occasione della sua entrata a Procuratore di San Marco, massima carica dello Stato dopo quella del Doge. Carlo Orsolini nacque a Venezia verso il 1704 e ivi morì nel 1784.
