HC. 240 B&W plates Ilustrador. 404pp Originally published under the title of AN ENCYCLOPEDIA OF ENGLISH FURNITURE in 1927. The author, Oliver Brackett, was at that time Keeper of the Department of Woodwork at the Victoria and Albert Museum. This new edition has been revised by H. Clifford Smith, who succeeded Mr. Brackett in that post. More than sixty plates have been included here which did not appear in the original work. good w/chipped dustjacket (hardcover).
