Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Fair. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fair. First Edition. Beige covers with blue lettering on spine and front cover and blue illustration on cover. The dust jacket has a blue front panel with black lettering and illustration of rooster perched on the moon. The rear panel has blurbs for two other Lothrap titles…. Both the book and the dust jacket are in good to fair condition with soiling and wear. There is a gift inscription on the front end page. The binding is tight. Despite the stated flaws, this is a decent copy in a dust jacket. ; Unpaginated story - 31 pages. Each page has an illustration either in black and white or yellow, blue, black, and white. On copyright page, date is 1937, with no additional printings listed, indicating that it is probably a first printing. Grace (1899-1995) and Olive (1911-2004) were sisters from Montana who co-wrote and illustrated several children's books. This appears to have been either thier first book or a very early one. The blurb on the flap states that this story is appropriate for children between five and eight years old. ; 8vo 8 1/4' by 7 3/4"; Unpaginated pages.

Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Very Good. Very Good Dust Jacket. This old book with dust jacket is clean, solid and in great shape! This is a hardcover book with 160 pages including some illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 19…42 as the published date. This is definitely Not a former library book. The dust jacket has a color illustration of a man looking thru pines tress at a boat in the water with mountains in the background. The dust jacket is about 99% intact with a couple of small chips on the edges and general edgewear. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box.

Añadir al carritoFirst Edition I. Octavo. Color frontispiece, 149 pages illustrated by the author in black and white. The authors grew up in Montana just outside Missoula and wrote several books for young people. Here they researched old letters and diaries for the background of their story. It takes place in the late 19th century where torn and… strangely marked piece of buckskin is found hidden in a shack in their uncle's ranch. Bound in blue cloth pictorially stamped in orange, spine lettering orange. A lovely near fine copy in a clipped pictorial dust jacket with a small closed edge tear to front panel and a few tiny nicks to spine ends and edges. Very scarce with the dust jacket.
