Wraps. Condición: Good. Wraps, approximately 8 ½ by 11 inches. 60 pp., including covers. Started in 1992, Chickfactor was a professional looking zine devoted to indie pop, especially British indie music that was often overlooked in the US. Even so, the editors were often ahead of the curve when it came to the coverage of America…n acts as well. Edited by Gail O'Hara and Pam Berry. O'Hara has edited magazines, worked as a photographer, owned a record label and made films. Pam Berry is a musician, perhaps best known for her work with Black Tambourine. A later issue, where Pam has left the zine, and a somewhat forlorn O'Hara interviews her. Along with that, there is an interview with Cat Power, Lois and Carrie Sleater-Kinney, etc. GOOD+ condition. Small tear and creasing at the head of the spine. Upper corner curled. Minor soiling and toning.
