Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. The unclipped dust jacket has moderate edge wear, tears and chips to edges and spine ends.

Simpson was one of the best known and popular artists and journalists of the Victorian era, famous for his reporting from Crimea and the Second Afghan War as well as many public events across the UK.
