In very good paper-covered pictorial boards, with pale blue cloth spine. The front cover shows girl in yellow beret holding a puppy with blue titles. The boards are tight, even and unmarked;; spine ends slightly bumped. The end papers are not tanned or foxed and have dedication on front paste down and a faint 'this book belongs to" stamp on front free end paper. The text block has colour frontispiee and black and white drawings in the text. The pages are tightly bound, even and clean. Very good condition. In good pictorial dust jacket that replicates the front board. The white back cover is grubby; the edges are worn with creases and open and closed tears. Not clipped. In removable protective sleeve.

Vintage children's book which is in good condition for its age. A much harder to find copy of "Ideal Book for Girls" at a very reasonable price. Would make a lovely VINTAGE gift.
