In very good condition; professionally rebound in maroon cloth with gilt title on the spine. Slight shelf-wear to cover with light bumping at the bottom of the spine. Pages themselves are clean and unmarked with light foxing. Front end-paper and half-title slightly folded in the bottom right corner. Some pages are somewhat creased along the hinge, due to the new binding. Ernest Noakes was a London society magician and a prominent member of the Magic Circle. Noakes was the second President of the Magic Circle and later as Honorary Vice President. In the early spring of 1907, performed at the Electric Theatre at the Crystal Palace for a total of fifty weeks, during which he gave well over a thousand performances. Inscribed by Author(s).
