May be published in 1947, previous owner's name inside front cover, dated 3/28/48. Spine is red cloth tape. Covers have bumping, rubbing, scuffing, some light marks, as do other pages in the book. Pages not numbered, but including the front and back cover, which have letters of the alphabet on them, 12 pages. Hinge very weak in back half of book, but holding together. A children's book which was lovingly used. No author listed. Wonderful, vibrant color illustrations by Rei Cramer. Cramer was (1887-1977) a Dutch children's book illustrator. She moved to the Netherlands from Indonesia when she was nine years old, and studied at the Art Academy in the Hague. Her most famous book was 'Grimm's Fairy Tales' from 1927.
