Hardcover. Condición: Very Good Plus. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. First Edition, Reprint. 8vo, heavy light brown buckram over boards, with front and spine blind stamps. Decorative gilt stamp to front and spine outlining illustrated paste on labels, illustrated endpapers. The text block of the book has sagged so there…is slight wear to the bottom edge. Out of an abundance of modesty, I am grading this book merely VG+. Jacket presents well, with slight chipping and wear to the spine ends and flap fold edges. There is also minor soiling to the jacket, which overall if VG.This gorgeous deluxe reprint edition of the Covici Friede Canterbury Tales is both beautifully bound and illustrated. Don't let the copyright page confuse things - this is published by Garden City.
