For thirty four years I had been accumulating teachings, notes, encouraging emails, etc. hoping they would benefit from them in the future. I wondered which one would want to know more about God and then one day I understood and I knew in my heart that they would never see the value of all the information God had put across my path that I was saving for them. As I continued pondering and thinking about my children and my grandchildren, all of a sudden, quickly and in color I had an open vision. Very close in front of me with great power and speed a plant came forth from the ground and started growing. I remember the size and speed of the plant as it traveled then the ground opened and I heard and saw the cracking of the ground making room for the plant to come forth. I watched the magnificent sight of it. The root system was huge as the cracks indicated and not far behind the plant near a barn were a farmer and a cow and the farmer was holding a rope that was around the cow's neck watching the plant grow. The plant was gigantic compared to them. The vision was in bold bright color and was breathtaking. Sitting and writing this the Holy Spirit is saying about the vision that the plant is the Word of God which is planted in the heart of a person. It is the visual representation of God's Word in the process of growth and productivity. It is the magnitude of what God's Word can do in a person's life. The Lord said that this book is "To prepare hearts." Prepare means that it must be done in advance. God is not only concerned about my children and grandchildren but also concerned about you and generations that will come after you. (Psalms 78:4-8) NIV "We will not hide them from their descendants: we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands. They would not be like their ancestors-a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to him." I began writing this book wanting to help my children and my grandchildren to know who this awesome God was that created them and I wanted them to see that He is real and His presence is real.
